Here is the 1st sentence of an article in Time Magazine:
"Ever since a slim majority outlawed gay marriage in California"
Prop 8 was passed by 52% to 48%. That, according to Time is a "slim majority".
OK.
Obama won the popular vote by 53% to 46%.
This is the 1st sentence of a magazine describing Obama's win:
"When historians look back at the 2008 presidential landslide"
To recap then...52/48 is a slim majority, but 53/46 is a landslide. But there is no media bias, no siree.
And I actually don't care about gay marriage one way or the other. Just illustrating a point about media bias.
