The Obama bounce is history. The McCain bounce looks solid. Polls all over the place say McCain is ahead either by a little or by a lot or at worst the two are tied. Compare this with Obama being up by a lot a week ago. Any way it is spun, the race has changed dramatically since the RNC.
Ahh, but wait say the liberals in the MSM (but I repeat myself). National polls don't matter because you have to win 270 EVs and national polls are irrelevant. The polls weren't irrelevant when the quasi-Muslim from Jakarta was up, but why quibble. And if you look at the EV polls, Barry Hussein Obama is still up. Technically they are correct. But technically they are also cretins.
State by state polls won't change as quickly as national polls, they never do. Pollsters aren't going to run 50 polls every day like they run the national polls daily or at least a few times a week. Some state polls that the libs are using to back their argument are over a month old. Might as well be 10 years old given all that's happened in the past 2 weeks.
My prediction is that in the coming week or two as the state polls are run, the EV vote will start mirroring the national poll numbers, more or less. I somehow doubt that the McCain bounce was all in Texas and the Obama swoon was all in California. Some of the change has come from people in Ohio, Florida, Colorado and Nevada changing their minds, ie the EV map has changes somewhat, but has not been reflected in 4 week old polls.
