This Week

Today I am supposed to clean the house. And since I hate doing the cleaning thing, I try to postpone and procrastinate as much as possible. Part of today's procrastination was watching a network news program, This Week with George Stephanopolous . One of the guests was Newt Gingrich. Another guest was Donna Brazile, Gore's campaign chief.

It became obvious why Gore lost. That woman is a complete moron. She couldn't even tell the difference between the deficit and debt. Had Gore won, that dolt would have been in his cabinet. Shiver!

As always I didn't disagree with a thing Newt said. He lays everything out so eloquently. Why oh why did he not run for president? Yeah he probably wouldn't have won the nomination since people figure he has too much baggage to win nationally. But he would have got people thinking. And I think an Obama-Gingrich match up would have been pretty good. Newt could ave wiped the floor with The Messiah on every issue.

It was an hour long discussion on how Obama will rule. Not once in that hour was it mentioned that Gallup's tracking poll has Obama up by only 2. Nor the fact that Zogby's latest poll, released today has Obama up by only 3. Add in a mini-Bradley effect - which everyone seems convinced no longer exists, but is always talking about it nonetheless - and this thing is a tie.
