The government will do ``whatever it takes'' to revive the economy, Obama said. That means ``we shouldn't worry about the deficit next year or even the year after,'' he said, adding that in the short term, ``the most important thing is that we avoid a deepening recession.''

HA!! all they've been screaming about the entire time Bush has been in office is "the deficit! the deficit! He's running up the deficiiiiiiiiittttt! waaaaahhhhh!"
Ahh yes, but you see when a liberal Democrat runs of up deficits, that's OK since it helps the 'middle class' get ahead. When Bush runs up a deficit, it's not OK only rich white get ahead.
What's funniest is that most people don't even know what a deficit is. I have seen countless "experts" on TV confuse the words debt and deficit. One of them was Diane Feinstein, Dem Senator from California who will most likely be the next governor of California.
And people wonder why this country is in the piss poor shape it is.
