Yet a new low

Among the seemingly hundreds of credit card offers in the mail this week, I received what I can only describe as a disturbing offer. It is a FANTASTICALLY LOW 5.99% APR for gas purchases. So along with the no payments till 2010 on furniture deals and the "we'll pay your first 2 payments on all pre-owned BMWs" I can get a 5.99% loan to buy gas.

And on a related note, the sales numbers are in for the weekend. Good news. Sales were up vs. 2007. Looks like the bailouts are working. People are buying a whole bunch of shit they don't need with the trillions of dollars being printed by the government. So all Obama has to do is keep printing $7 trillion every month for the next 4 years and all should be well.
